Gandario, heart of Europe
The EVS, is also a seminary before leaving, a seminaring at the arrival, one at mid-term and one on the way back. After Sommières at the beginning of September (6-9), so we have been received in Gandario, 18 kilometres far from A Coruña. Personnaly, and for Alice (Italia), who reached me in the flat last Sunday, so it was a short trip by bus.
The opportunity was given to us te meet the other EVS european volunteers on the Atlantic Spain (Basque Country, Navarre, Cantabria, Asturias, Castille-et-Leon, Galicia). So we were 6 French people among the european colonia, represented by volunteers from Estonia, Latvia, Norway, Sweden, Poland, Romania, Germany, Austria, Luxembourg, Italy, Turkey, Hungary and Greece. The seminary has got the advantage to be in English language and Spanish language.
At the edge of the beach, the atmosphere was up to it, just as the weather. We have been received very well and the training was fine, with a lot of playful exercises. Courtesy was there. There were a lot of football games. We made new appointements at the mid-term seminary, we promised each other to see us sometimes. The last night was a sleepness night for somebody and drunken. For my part, I spent my French songs's stock but I have been particularly wise. Day after day, this permits to us to increase our knowledge network. By the way, coming back at home today and after a peaceful day, Andrés and Alexandra, two former occupants of the flat presented themselves to us. They were devoured by the curiosity of knowing who have succeeded to them in this "piso" reserved to the volunteers. Good news.
